Mini feature for the 2011 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival

Funded by the Ontario Arts Council, Johan Hallberg-Campbell documents "Grand Bruit," Newfoundland
and the residents last days in their coastal community as they move away in resettlement to new homes in new cities.

"Grand Bruit" has since come down after an exhibition at Archeo (55 Mill St Bldg 4 Toronto),
but will also be exhibiting at The Harbourfront Gallery for three months in April 2012.

Johan is a Toronto based documentary photographer and also contributes to The Red Cross, Walrus Magazine, Skots Magazine and also
teaches workshops at Pikto. He is also a freelance photographer and curator and was one of five chosen for the 2010 Flash Forward Festival.
